Mark Bilowus is the Founder, Medical Director, and Chief Surgeon
of Bilowus Medical located in The Pavilion at Reston Hospital in
Reston, Virginia. Dr. Bilowus is a member of the International Society
of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), American Society of Hair Restoration
Surgery, and a Board Certified Surgeon with over 20 years of surgical
experience.
His extensive training, passion for perfection, and innate aesthetic skills enable him to provide the finest available treatments for hair loss. It is the philosophy of Dr. Bilowus and his staff to provide the highest level of care to his patients in a warm, friendly, caring environment.
Dr. Bilowus earned a Bachelor of Science from the State University New York in Buffalo, studied Cancer Epidemiology as a M.A. Candidate at Roswell Park Memorial Institute, and received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in 1980.
After a successful career studying General Surgery, completing
his residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington,
DC, and practicing Urologic Major Abdominal Surgery and Reconstructive
Surgery in
Reston, Virginia—where
he was Chief of Section of Urology at Reston Hospital Center—Dr.
Bilowus elected to devote his practice to the dynamic and artistic
specialty of hair restoration surgery.
Dr. Bilowus is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration
